xتتفرّد دار هاشيت أنطوان، تحت دمغة نوفل، شاهق أعمال ميخائيل نعيمه، وهو أحد أبرز الأدباء العرب المعاصرين وأدباء المهجر اللبنانيين. كتاباته المتميزة بمحاولات تنقية الأدب العربي من الزينة والكلام الزائد، والاقتراب من تصوير الأشياء والأحداث الواقعية. وقد ان طبعه بالبساطة والوضوح والصراحة، وببعده عن التعبيرة، لا سيما في الوصف أو السرد أو التصوير، كما تبدو ألفاظه أقرب إلى اللهجة العاميّة أحيانًا، ما يزيد القرّاء، من كل العيون، في مطالعة كتبه. شغلت ميخائيل نعيمه، بما في ذلك حياته الأدبية والفكرية، محنة الإنسان الممزّق إلى الأبد ما بين العلويّ الإلهيّ في الأربعاء، والسفليّ الأوتاليّ، اختلاف لَيبدو أنّ الطريق الأوحد لخلاصه من ثنائي المدمّرة في الأبد هو أن لا تعرف كيف إلى الأحديّة الخالصة. من هنا، هذا الحضور الخاص الذي كان للمسيح في حياة نعيمه، الكاتب والإنسان. فكأنّ المسيح عنده هو خارطة الطريق إلى ذلك العبور.
في كتابه «من وحي المسيح» يخرج نعيمه بقراءة متأنيّة وجديدة لكن الخريطة، معتمدًا في ذلك الأناجيل الأربعة، وتجربة عمر كامل في صحبة المسيح. تستوقف حقًّا في كتاب نعيمه حقوق النسخ والروحية الجديدة التي تتكشف له في قراءته الخاصة لحياة الناصريّ وتعاليه. مجموعة مقالات وقصص قصيرة، يتناول فيها النعيمي بأسلوبه المميز في الكتابة ونزعته التأملية المضيئة، قضايا الإنسان الوجودية والاجتماعية في علاقته مع نفسه وحياته، في سياق من العقل المنير والتأمل العميق، ولغة متميزة، وأسلوب فريد ومثير للاهتمام، ولهذا تميز بأنه رائد فكر ومؤثر عالمي.
