Not much happens in Rabee AlAmin's new novel. There is no intricately woven plot, no whirlpools where characters get lost, and no events that steal the reader's breath. Literature is what happens in this novel. Literature in which is molded a complete life, a ghost inhabiting a woman who has lived through it. A woman whose hair is blue, but whose soul is colored with all the hues. A woman who is quiet, but whose heart is pulsating with all the books she devoured, all the characters she loved, and all the sentences that pained her. This is a long dialogue between a solitary woman, wrapped in the autumn of her life, and her fragmented past haunted by war, music, her infatuation with philosophy and art, and her contemplations that intersect with every passing event. She is more than a woman, she is less than a woman, she is every woman, she is a metaphor.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
