Set in Istanbul and Oxford, from the 1980s to the present day, Three Daughters of Eve is a sweeping story of faith and friendship, tradition and modernity, love and unexpected betrayal.

Perry, a wealthy Turkish housewife, is on her way to a dinner party at a seaside mansion in Istanbul when a beggar snatches her handbag. As she struggles to retrieve it, a photo falls to the floor—an old Polaroid of three young women and a university professor. It's a relic of a past—and a love—that Perry has desperately tried to forget.

The photograph takes Perry back to Oxford University, as an eighteen-year-old girl sent abroad for the first time; to her dazzling, rebellious professor, and his life-changing approach to God; to her home with her two best friends, Sherine and Mona, and their discussions about Islam and femininity; and finally, to the scandal that tore them all apart.
