Third gender

Does it take courage to discuss what we fear, or perhaps even what we are ashamed of? I moved beyond that question long ago. Now, when I write, I primarily seek to learn more about myself, to raise awareness, to help others and myself. I see no signs of danger, hear no warnings, and pay no heed to the landmines that might explode beneath my feet. I simply lay a trap, then push myself toward it and peel off my skin until I am completely naked on the page. Thus, the voyeur and the reviewer become one; the feast and its host. And each time the bomb explodes in my face, I feel a thrill, knowing that you will be able to offer a piece of my flesh to the readers. These discoveries are facts, my words, the humble gifts I offer you in this book... and they are also my traps.
