In May 1706, Anna, a young Spanish woman, lives in a small town on the northwest coast of Tenerife with her mother and two twin brothers. The town lies in the shadow of a massive volcano, which legend says is haunted by a demon. However, there hasn't been an eruption in thousands of years, and no one believes it poses a threat. One day, Anna notices that the air is strange and heavy, and the birds have stopped singing. While tending her family's vineyard, a sudden, strange earthquake frightens her. Soon, Anna will be in a race against time to convince the town that they are in danger and that they must flee before the volcano erupts and destroys their world. Will they listen?
