History of the Nabhani Kings in Oman 1154 AD - 1622 AD

The new edition is part of the Historical Encyclopedia of Oman, for which His Highness chose a name with precise connotations and deep implications: "Sultan Al-Tawarikh" (Sultan of Histories), meaning "The Authority of Histories."
With this release, the Sultan Al-Tawarikh Encyclopedia is complete. It consists of four parts: the first part discusses the history of Oman from human settlement to the end of the Ibadi state; the second part presents the history of the Nabhani kings in Oman from 1154 AD to 1622 AD; the third part reveals the history of the Ya'ariba in Oman from 1622 AD to 1747 AD; and the encyclopedia concludes with the fourth part, which highlights the history of the Al Busaid imams in Oman from 1749 AD to 1856 AD.
His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah included five chapters and five appendices in the first part, "History of Oman from Human Settlement to the End of the Ibadi State." In the first chapter, His Highness discussed human settlement in Oman. In the second chapter, he unveiled the kings of Al-Azd in Oman. In the third chapter, he shed light on Oman in early Islam and subsequent eras. In the fourth and fifth chapters, he extensively discussed the First Ibadi State and the Second Ibadi State in Oman.
His Highness supported his book with appendices containing rare documents, unique maps, and photos of rare and valuable coins and artifacts found in Sharjah. Over three years of serious scientific research, study, scrutiny, examination, excavation, and delving into ancient texts, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi was able to guide the compass of Oman's history to its correct path. With an honest, trustworthy pen and decades of experience, he wrote a pure, clear history in an engaging narrative style and an enjoyable storytelling presentation, correcting data, refining information, documenting news, and verifying historical traces.
In writing the Sultan Al-Tawarikh Encyclopedia, His Highness relied on his solid academic background in history, geography, and archaeology, his extensive experience in artifacts and documents, and his wide knowledge of valuable manuscripts. His Highness also drew his information from his personal collection of rare books, unique references, and sole manuscripts, as well as the treasures of archaeological manuscripts, documents, and valuable maps in his library.
The Sultan Al-Tawarikh Encyclopedia, with its four parts, is a valuable historical treasure, revealing historical facts, archaeological sites, and events that occurred in Oman and the Arabian coast, and highlighting truths and pivotal turning points in the history of Oman.
