Muhammad Jamil Zeno (1344 - 1431 AH = 1925 - 2010 AD)

• He was born in the city of Aleppo, Syria, in 1925 AD, corresponding to 1344 AH.
• When he was about ten years old, he joined a private school and learned to read and write.
• He joined the Dar Al-Hafiz School and stayed there for five years, during which he memorized the Qur’an by heart with Tajweed.
• He entered a school in Aleppo called (the Preparatory Sharia College) and then became (the Sharia Secondary School), which was affiliated with the Islamic Endowments. It taught Sharia and modern sciences: he studied interpretation, Hanafi jurisprudence, grammar, morphology, history, hadith and its sciences, and other Sharia sciences.

Among the modern sciences he studied were physics, chemistry, mathematics, the French language, and other sciences in which Muslims excelled in ancient times, such as algebra, for example.
• He obtained his school certificate in 1948 AD, and obtained the general secondary school certificate. He entered the Teachers’ College in Aleppo, and worked as a teacher for approximately 29 years.
• Then he left teaching. He performed Umrah to Mecca in 1399 AH, and got to know His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz, and realized that his belief was Salafi, so he appointed him as a teacher in the Grand Mosque in Mecca during Hajj. When the Hajj season ended, he sent him to Jordan to call people to Allah, so he went and stayed in the city of "Al-Ramtha" in Salah Al-Din Mosque, where he was an Imam, a preacher, and a teacher of the Quran. He used to visit middle schools and direct students to the belief in monotheism, and they accepted him with good acceptance.
• In the month of Ramadan of the year 1400 AH, he performed Umrah in Mecca, and stayed until after the Hajj. He then worked as a teacher at the Charitable House of Hadith in Mecca, and taught interpretation, monotheism, the Holy Quran, and other lessons.

He issued short, concise, and simple messages that were accepted in all countries of the world. Some of them were translated into English, French, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, and other languages. He called them: (The Islamic Guidance Series). They reached more than twenty messages, hundreds of thousands of which were printed, most of them free of charge.
• He died - may God have mercy on him - on Friday 1/11 (Dhu al-Qi'dah) / 1431 AH
