Praise be to Allah, the Lord of Glory and Majesty, who has guided us to the path of Islam and made us followers of the Seal of His Messengers, may Allah bless him and his family and grant them peace. We are pleased to present to you this valuable and noble collection of “Fatawa-e-Sirat-ul-Mustaqeem” (Islamic rulings, questions, and answers) selected and compiled from the monthly Urdu magazine “Sirat-e-Mustaqeem” published by Jamiat Ahle Hadith Central, UK. The late Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Mirpuri initially presented the “Fatawa” in response to readers’ queries and questions on Islamic matters. His effective method of responding in the light of the Quran and Sunnah, as well as in accordance with current issues, undoubtedly benefited readers worldwide rather than the sole questioner. Therefore, we received many requests to compile this series into a book. When this book (in Urdu) was presented in the UK, the response from the community was very encouraging, and a great demand arose for translating this collection into English, so that the English-speaking community, especially the younger generation of Muslims, could also benefit from this valuable knowledge. Maulana M. Abdulhadi Al-Omari translated these noble fatwas, trying to use the simplest possible vocabulary to make this book easy to read and understand for everyone, as it is not just for literature or academics, but for the benefit of all. Translating any book is a very delicate matter, especially when trying to preserve the same meanings and essence of the subject. Mawlana M. Abdulhadi Al-Omari was careful not to deviate from the original text, and even added references to quotations from the Quran and Sunnah that were not mentioned in the Urdu version. May Allah reward everyone - the writer, compiler, translator, editor, publisher, and everyone who contributed in any way - with the best reward in this world and the hereafter, for their contribution to the completion of this valuable collection.
