Muhammad Jamil Zeno (1344 - 1431 AH = 1925 - 2010 AD)
• Born in Aleppo, Syria, in 1925 AD (1344 AH).
• When he was approximately ten years old, he enrolled in a private school and learned to read and write.
• He enrolled in the Dar al-Huffaz School, where he spent five years memorizing the Qur’an by heart with tajweed.
• He attended a school in Aleppo called the Preparatory Sharia College, later known as the Sharia Secondary School. It was affiliated with the Islamic Endowments Authority and taught Sharia and modern sciences. He studied interpretation, Hanafi jurisprudence, grammar, morphology, history, hadith and its sciences, and other Sharia sciences.
Among the modern sciences, he studied physics, chemistry, mathematics, French, and other subjects in which ancient Muslims excelled, such as algebra.
• He obtained his high school diploma in 1948 CE, obtained his general secondary school certificate, and entered the Teachers' College in Aleppo, where he worked as a teacher for approximately 29 years.
• He then left teaching. He performed Umrah in Mecca in 1399 AH (1948 CE), where he met His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz and learned that his faith was Salafi. He appointed him as a teacher in the Grand Mosque during the Hajj season. When the Hajj season ended, he sent him to Jordan to preach to God. He went and stayed in the city of Ramtha at the Salah al-Din Mosque, where he served as an imam, preacher, and Quran teacher. He visited middle schools and instructed students in the doctrine of monotheism, which they accepted with open arms. • In the month of Ramadan of the year 1400 AH, he performed Umrah in Mecca and stayed there until after the Hajj. He then worked as a teacher at Dar al-Hadith al-Khairiya in Mecca, teaching interpretation, monotheism, the Holy Quran, and other subjects.
He published short, concise, and simple treatises that were widely accepted worldwide. Some of these were translated into English, French, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, and other languages. He titled them: "The Islamic Guidance Series." The total number of treatises reached more than twenty, with hundreds of thousands of them printed, most of them free of charge.
• He passed away - may God have mercy on him - on Friday, 1/11 (Dhu al-Qi’dah) / 1431 AH

He issued short, concise, and simple messages that were accepted in all countries of the world. Some of them were translated into English, French, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, and other languages. He called them: (The Islamic Guidance Series). They reached more than twenty messages, hundreds of thousands of which were printed, most of them free of charge.
• He died - may God have mercy on him - on Friday 1/11 (Dhu al-Qi'dah) / 1431 AH
