The book of the Shatibiyyah text, called “Hirz Al-Amani Wa Wajh Al-Tahani,” is one of the best books on the science of Qira’at, as this book collects what has been transmitted from the seven imams (Nafi’ - Ibn Kathir - Abu Amr - Ibn Amir - Asim - Hamza - Al-Kasani).

Al-Hafiz Al-Dhahabi said in his book, “Ma’rifat Al-Qurra Al-Kabir”: “His poem, “Hirz Al-Amani” and “Aqila Atrab Al-Qasida” which deal with recitations and orthography, has been widely traveled by travelers, and countless people have memorized them. The most eminent poets, the greatest orators, and the most skilled reciters have submitted to it. He has been creative, concise, and made difficult things easy. That is why scholars have received it throughout the ages.”
