To unravel its mystery, she must travel back in time to uncover the history of her grandmothers.
The novel explores themes such as women's solidarity, the struggle for freedom, and resistance, showing how lacemaking became a means of financial independence for the women in that family. It also addresses the oppression suffered by Eugenia, a young woman forced into marriage with a wealthy man, and her attempt to escape that fate through secret symbols embroidered in lace.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
