No names, no places, no years, just the four seasons and the heat of the sun, which sometimes increases and sometimes takes pity on the heads, in a visual structure that explores the results of decades of colonialism and occupation that transform the Palestinian into another in his own country, while his life is scattered and disintegrated by daily oppression.
"Camouflage" is a novel governed by the succession of chapters and the changing colors of the environment, indicating the continuity of time and its non-stoppage due to any expulsion, exile, arrest, or torture.
Within this scenic structure, the lives of a young woman and a young man intersect, but do not intersect. These lives appear at first glance to be contradictory, but they express the same essence: the attempt to alienate the Palestinian woman and man in their land. However, the novel does not directly engage with these attempts; rather, they transform into metaphorical tools in a narrative that reveals the truth about what colonialism does in silencing the story.
