Kaibara Ikiken was a philosopher, physician, and samurai who lived a long life practicing medicine, recording his observations and thoughts on the healthy and natural life a samurai could lead. When he was eighty-four, he compiled his observations and acquired knowledge into a book titled Yujokon (Lessons in Nurturing Life), in which he outlined his final instructions to these warrior knights. Although this work was originally intended for the samurai class of the era, it quickly spread to all segments of society and became a reference in modern Japan, where it is constantly reprinted. The goal of this translation is to introduce the Arabic reader to "The Way of the Samurai" and provide them with the opportunity to follow it in many areas of daily life, from eating and drinking, vital energy, body care, sexual desire, illness and the art of medicine, the use of drugs, and finally, a dignified life in old age. It is worth noting that Ekiken views these matters from a comprehensive perspective, emphasizing their interconnectedness and focusing on the concept of prevention, which makes him ahead of his time. You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
