This book is one of those valuable works that focuses on a specific aspect of the Sunnah (Prophetic tradition), namely "Prophetic Education for Children." While much has been written on religious education and Prophetic education in general, little has been specifically dedicated to the Prophetic education of children. This is an independent, important, and vital aspect of the Prophet's guidance in raising the young. The author approaches it with the conviction of a believer, the insight of a judicious intellectual, the deep vision of a discerning observer, and the organization of an appreciative engineer. He structured it into several chapters, building one upon the other: a chapter on advice to parents; a chapter on the rights of an infant; and a chapter on building a child's personality from weaning to puberty. This last chapter is the most important and the core of childhood education. The author based it on the fundamentals of doctrinal, devotional, social, moral, emotional, and intellectual development.
