Since the servant's happiness in both worlds is linked to the guidance of the Prophet, peace be upon him, it is incumbent upon anyone who truly cares for themselves and desires their salvation and happiness to know enough of his guidance, biography, and conduct to avoid ignorance and to be counted among his followers, partisans, and party.
People in this regard vary: some are self-sufficient, some are abundant, and some are deprived. Grace is in the hand of Allah; He grants it to whom He wills, and Allah is the Possessor of Great Bounty.

This book illuminates the path of guidance by introducing us to our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, by mentioning his lineage, circumcision, foster parents, prophethood, uncles, aunts, wives, concubines, freed slaves, servants,
scribes and books, muezzins, commanders, guards, and others.

Then it moves on to the jurisprudence of the biography, mentioning many of his actions and sayings, peace be upon him, in all matters. Then it mentions the Prophet's battles, peace be upon him, and his expeditions to show how he, peace be upon him, fought the disbelievers to spread the call to the oneness of Allah.
After that, it mentions the delegations that came to him, one by one.
The author dedicated a chapter to Prophetic medicine, in which he mentioned the sayings and actions of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in treating many illnesses.
The book concludes with his rulings, peace be upon him, on many matters, such as: his ruling on someone who kills his slave, for example.
This book is considered the best provision for the best return (Hereafter).
