Abu al-Tayyib Ahmad ibn al-Husayn al-Ja'fari was born in Kufa, in a neighborhood called Kinda. He was a reserved poet with a strong lyrical style, a balanced mind, and great intelligence. He traveled to the Levant in his youth and immersed himself in the literary arts. During his travels, he met many prominent scholars, under whom he studied and learned knowledge.
This book includes all of Al-Mutanabbi's poems, in addition to some explanations of the meanings of words that are difficult for the reader to determine. It also includes an introduction that served as an introduction to the poet and his life, and a conclusion that contained an index in addition to the number of each poem as a degree in the book according to the poem's rhyme and the meter according to which it was composed.
