The late poet Mahmoud Darwish's "last collection", titled "I Don't Want This Poem to End," is divided into three sections: The first, titled "The Dice Player," begins with the poem with which he began his final evening in Ramallah. The second section is devoted to a single poem, "I Don't Want This Poem to End," which is likely the last poem he wrote, and the one the poet intended to never end. It symbolizes the poet's relationship with himself, his land, and his death. The third section includes a collection of poems written by Mahmoud Darwish at various stages, some of which are patriotic and some personal, including two poems to Nizar Qabbani and Emile Habibi.
