From the ashes of wars and the roar of memory, this collection of poems rises as a voice seeking its salvation in meaning.
Poetry is written and saved from nothingness, from absence, from loss.
The poems dwell between a sad flute and a speaking silence, between a woman praying to language and a homeland spelling itself out with tears.
Here, love is mixed with death, and light seeps in from under the rubble, so that the poem becomes the last thing left of humanity when the world extinguishes its breath.
Like lightning, I gaze towards the Most High and ask Him
About the pure water, the echo poured forth in fear.
The poems in this collection are meant to be read, remembered… and forgotten all at once.
