This book provides an in-depth glimpse into one of humanity's most important golden ages, which brought about what can be described as an intellectual and enlightening transformation prevalent in five of the world's most ancient geographical regions, characterized by deeply rooted and authentic demographics. These regions are "Greece," "Persia," "India," "China," and "the Levant and Mesopotamia," where a large number of the most famous philosophers and scholars emerged, bringing about great changes and impacts as they took upon themselves the task of advancing that era and elevating its people spiritually, intellectually, and morally. Among them were "Socrates" in Greece, "Zoroaster" in Persia, "Buddha" and "Mahavira" in India, "Confucius" in China, and "Isaiah" in the Levant and Mesopotamia, in addition to many other philosophers and geniuses.
Their noble mission was summarized in transforming the primitive thought prevalent in ancient times, from a thought based on the worship of a large number of gods, including some manifestations of nature, to another, more sophisticated thought, leading to the worship of one God who essentially focuses on ethics and elevates human behavior to a level befitting its humanity and respecting its intellect, which led to a great renaissance in societies, philosophy, sciences, and knowledge.
Therefore, I believe that we can find inspiration in the period that the German philosopher "Karl Jaspers" called the Axial Age; because it was indeed a pivotal and influential period in the spiritual development of humanity, from around 900 BCE to 200 BCE.
The Axial Age was one of the most important periods in the intellectual, psychological, philosophical, and even religious transformation in recorded human history, and there was nothing comparable to it until the great Western transformation that created our scientific and technical modernity.
The scholars of this period focused on the great importance of messages of love, tolerance, and noble human ethics, so it is only fair for us to give them this recognition and reminder.
