Purification of the Soul

Have you ever felt so immersed in nature that you were like a breeze in the wind blowing from afar, a grain of sand in the desert, or a drop of water in the sea? Or as if you were a member of the community of plants and trees? Have you ever felt euphoria and happiness from helping others or pride for a great accomplishment? Or have you ever felt that you were living in such extreme darkness and pain that you couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel? And have you held onto your dreams and hopes tightly, but no matter how strong your grip, they slipped through your fingers? "No, I will not be ordinary, I will reach the stars and touch them, I will dream my way to the farthest corners of the universe... what is seen and what is not seen." Poetry is the world where all these emotions and more reside, flourish, and form parts of an alternative dimension that rises above the independence of our daily lives. Let us always strive to discover the magic, beauty, and understanding that words can bring.
