What Is Life?

The life we live is a battle that no one knows when it will end—it may end suddenly without warning. It is a series of interconnected events, and none of us can say with absolute certainty whether we will triumph or be defeated in it. It is a battle fought with weapons, and these weapons vary depending on the battlefield you find yourself on.

Undoubtedly, you may emerge victorious in some stages of this battle; in fact, what’s astonishing is that you might win without even realizing it beforehand, and you might lose even when you’re at the peak of your preparedness!

It’s very simple: remain calm and prepared whether you win or lose, because in both cases, you must stay calm.

Victory does not mean you are strong in this life, and defeat does not mean you are weak in it.

Battles are always back-and-forth and subject to change; they do not remain static at a single level. One side may prevail through the other’s surrender or defeat—except for one battle: the battle of life, which remains in flux until a person’s life comes to an end.

The only solution that keeps us strong as we wage this battle is to find peace within ourselves first and foremost.
