The poems in this new poetry collection were gathered during two periods: the first (1978 - 1981 AD) and the second (1990 - 1999 AD), during the poet's residence in Sharjah, and among them are his Arab nationalist poems, which were characterized by sincere feeling and an overwhelming national sentiment, and a reproach of time that goes against man, life, and existence. It also included a poem he presented to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, titled "Excuse me, Your Highness."
