A young musician who attempted suicide opens his eyes in the hospital without remembering anything, not even his songs. Time becomes confused for him, so he thinks the dead are alive and the living are dead. He doubts the truth of what he sees, thinking it is part of history, except for one fact he does not doubt: his body with its broken rib. He does not know whether forgetfulness is a curse or a blessing. He searches for answers to the questions that run through his mind in clocks, mirrors, and lighthouses at sea. The labyrinth not only narrates the suffering of a man who has lost his past and seeks to recover it, but in its white spaces between the lines, there is an invitation for the reader to search for the truth and reach it through doubt. * Burhan Sönmez was born in Heymane in 1965.
