The hero of the novel, 'Lucas', is a historian, orientalist and visual artist. He fell in love with an Arab country and built his home in the high mountains to be a civilization of art, music, literature and creativity. He loved the Arabs and they loved him, but the hand of treachery reached out to him from a man working in real estate sales who coveted owning his house. He died treacherously, and his soul refused to perish. He died with his body, but his soul remained hovering in the place. His betrayed soul still wanted revenge, so he lived in his civilization with his spirit, not his body. He remained on the lookout for every person who tried to inhabit his civilization, except for one soul that his transparent soul loved.. The soul of a beautiful Bedouin woman who inhabited his civilization with her family, resulting in strange feelings between a living soul without a body and a living body in which the spirit had died, so it was awakened again. To breathe with it the air of the world it had lost. Sometimes love takes the form of harmony between souls, not the instinct of bodies.
