(The origin of the book is a series of journalistic articles published in the Arabian Aviation (Al Nawares) newspaper between 2012-2014 in three languages: Arabic, English, and French). It deals with the life of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah. It consists of several articles by the Indian author Karnik, former director of Mumbai University and a historian specializing in Indian history. The book discusses "Sharjah: Decades of Radiance" and a section on "Sultan of Culture." It covers the Emirate of Sharjah, the Capital of Arab and Islamic Culture, in terms of customs, traditions, social life, and the culture and heritage of Sharjah, which is not different from other Emirates. The book also discusses Sharjah's contribution to spreading Arab and Islamic culture and the reason for its selection as the Capital of Islamic Culture for 2014. The book describes the heritage and Islamic buildings, universities, and the extent of the Emirate's ruler's interest in cultural and educational aspects, his great interest in using modern technology, and the establishment of more than 21 museums that introduce Arab and Islamic culture, civilization, and heritage. In the chapter "Sultan of Culture," the book discusses Sheikh Sultan's generous journey and his published books and works.
