Hojan is a science fiction novel by Saudi writer and director Ibrahim Abbas. It is the author's debut novel, first published in 2013. It has been widely acclaimed across the Arab world and has achieved very high sales since its release, with sales exceeding 40,000 copies. It has also been translated into English and Spanish, although at the same time, the novel has faced many criticisms from some critics. Image Nation Abu Dhabi announced that it will adapt Hojan's novel into a film and a drama.

The story is about a love affair that arose between a young man from the world of the jinn called “Hojan bin Mijal Al-Fiji”, who is the hero of the novel and lives with his mother. He is distinguished by his handsomeness among the world of the jinn and belongs to a respectable family. He studied medicine and obtained excellent grades, which is the dream of every jinn girl in his world. Hojan loved a twenty-year-old girl from the world of humans called “Sawsan”, who is the daughter of Dr. Abdul Rahim who works at the same university. She is an outstanding girl in her university and has a cheerful face. She faces many psychological pressures and problems in her life, and despite that, the smile never leaves her lips. This is what impressed the jinn Hojan, which made him fascinated with her to the point that he used the Ouija game that Susan played with her friends to convey his feelings to her.

Susan suffers a health problem that puts her in intensive care, which puts her life in danger because of Hawjan, but with all his feelings of love for her, he sacrifices everything he has to save the life of his beloved. At the end of the novel, the reader is surprised by a surprising ending that he had not imagined.
