A Brazilian man known by this funny name, narrates in this novel chapters from his early life, the life of a mischievous child that he spent between one of Brazil’s villages and one of its cities. We entered the novel as a child longing for school so he could wear shorts, and we left it with people chanting: “This is Cazuza! This is him… He is no longer a child… He is a little man!”

Inside each of us is a "Kazuza," even if the times and geographies differ. "Kazuza" is you and me, escaping to our childhood, whenever our awareness of hardship intensifies, to relive the most beautiful moments of our lives. "Kazuza" makes us laugh until our eyes tear up, and he may even make us cry with stories that stir, I believe, the human emotions within us.
This novel is a great life lesson, in which morals are crafted from jokes, funny situations, grandmothers' stories, teachers' lessons, and children's disputes... a complete system of concepts and values ​​that a child needs to face life, and that adults need in an age where everything is traded, so that no matter how great their loss, they may regain the child within themselves, and thus awaken the human being.
