This book defends the simple life, in accordance with a confession that Nietzsche had previously made with the humility of the great when he said: [The simple way of life is too distant a goal for me, and I will wait for people wiser than me to come and find it for us]. What is the simple life? It is a life lived with as few illusions as possible, a life in which I reconcile with my own destiny, not comparing myself to anyone else's destiny. A life in which I am as I am, not as others want me to be. A life in which I extend my control over myself, so that my emotions and feelings are honest in expressing the values ​​I profess and advocate. A life in which I create pleasure with the least things, and create happiness and joy in the simplest ways, where true joy is the joy of feeling growth and advancement. But returning to the simple life is the most difficult journey after we have lost our way amidst grand illusions. Some may think that living a simple life is the easiest thing! This is not true. This requires abandoning the greed for things that are not necessary for life. It requires lofty values ​​toward nature, humanity, and the self. This book, before being directed to you, is directed to me. I wrote it for myself first. It is an attempt to clarify the role of philosophy in shaping life, so that it can exercise its most vital role: philosophy's role is not only to grant us the ability to understand texts, but its role is primarily to enable us to understand life.
