Praise for the new generation

I don't lack knowledge of the new generation. Most of my relationships, conversations, and dialogues are with them. They are closer to me and know my closeness to them and my understanding of their pattern of presence in the new world. I have worked in education for more than forty years, and I was and still am closer to the vision of my children's generation than to my own. That is what prompts me to write about this generation, to value its achievements today, and its promise for the future. In this book, I have tried to present my personal vision, even though I know in advance that it does not reflect the vision of my entire generation, and I have not given myself the right to speak on behalf of any person on earth. It is the personal vision of a father who has a family formed approximately half a century ago. This family consists of a mother, a father, two daughters, and four sons, the youngest of whom is over thirty years old. They have completed their higher education, some of whom have obtained doctorates, and others master's degrees. This book does not harbor provocative slogans or mobilization calls. It is an attempt to explain what distinguishes the generation of children and makes them superior to their parents and ancestors. The book does not seek to instigate a conflict between generations, but rather attempts to uncover the fabric of the complex and contradictory terrain in which our societies live today. It is a call for parents to understand the world of their children, and for children to understand the world of their parents. This can only be achieved through courageous stances by both parents and children, in which everyone takes the initiative for dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation, and works diligently to create a realistic partnership that invests energies in building a more beautiful world, and strives to reduce the rate of non-recognition, antagonism, warfare, and estrangement between the generations of parents and children.
