These words begin "Al-Tuhfa Al-Nabahaniyya" by its author, Sheikh Muhammad, son of the scholar Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Musa Al-Nabhan, then Al-Ta'i by lineage, born and raised in Mecca, and of the Maliki school of thought. He was one of the teachers at the Grand Mosque in Mecca, like his father. He is known as the historian of the island of Bahrain in the modern era.

He presents to us his masterpiece on the history of the Arabian Peninsula, which is one of the first works to address the writing of the history of the State of Bahrain.
