Multi-level house

"Living in a house full of magic is no easy feat, as you know." This is Aunt Sempronia's advice to Charmain, the heroine of the third and final part of the Howl's Moving Castle trilogy. Charmain is taken to manage the affairs of Wizard High Norland's house, Great Uncle William, at Aunt Sempronia's recommendation. Charmain was well-raised by her parents, the Bakers, but they overdid it, shielding her from everything in their desire for her to become a "respectable" girl. She could do nothing but read books, burying her nose in them all the time. Therefore, she seeks to fulfill her dream of joining the King of High Norland and his daughter Princess Hilda in cataloging their library. In the wizard's house, Charmain learns simple things, like washing dishes and tidying the house, and the art of laundry, so she doesn't wash a red outfit with white clothes. She tries to be kind to Weave and Peter, who teach her a lot, even though he can't distinguish between right and left. In the small house – seemingly – with its single door that takes them to several places, Charmain discovers her many hidden talents. She is a natural-born witch who succeeds in stopping water from gushing out of cracked pipes, flying in the meadow and confronting the Lobok, exposing the deception of the Kobold Rollo, and protecting the kingdom with her dog Weave. Living in the wizard's house was not easy, as Charmain concluded, but in it, she discovered herself and other people she would not have known otherwise. Most importantly, she experienced life as she had never known it before
