This encyclopedia is a Lebanese-Arab philosophical project that brings together researchers from Lebanon and various Arab countries in the spirit of high intellectual understanding and in accordance with the requirements of sound, objective scientific research. The researchers in this encyclopedia are inspired by the firm conviction that monitoring the state of global philosophy is a philosophical act that grants Arab philosophical reflection the potential to articulate the individual and collective experiences of humanity within the context of contemporary Arab society. The Encyclopedia of Contemporary French Philosophy comprises ten parts, each of which addresses a distinct theme of contemporary French philosophy. It selects the most prominent contemporary French philosophers who have distinguished themselves with a sublime philosophical contribution that justifies the inclusion of their works in this research approach, due to the significant impact they have left on the global movement of philosophical reflection.
