The book begins by discussing the basic foundations of personality, then the method of this formation. It then presents the means of developing good habits and eradicating harmful ones. This is interspersed with many correct explanations of strange behaviors in adults and children. It explains the behavior of those we meet, from our siblings, children, friends, students, spouses, bosses, and even ourselves. It also explains much of our own behavior and the conscious and unconscious, innate and acquired, forces and motivations that go into this behavior. There is no doubt that this type of knowledge makes us more capable of dealing with others, makes our lives more bearable, and makes our happiness more attainable.
