The "deed of conspiracy" is the Balfour Declaration issued in 1917. This book tells the story of the declaration in narrative style, from the perspectives of representatives of its various parties. The testimony of McMahon, who prepared the Arab arena for the implementation of the colonial partition plan, reveals how he engaged and deceived Sharif Hussein. The testimony of Montagu, the British Jewish minister, contradicts McMahon's testimony, as he strongly opposed any promise guaranteeing the establishment of a Zionist state in Palestine. As for Weizmann, he—as he says in his memoirs—wore a mask for every occasion, lying and deceiving to achieve his goals. The testimony of Sharif Hussein, however, reveals how he fell into the trap of deception set for him by McMahon's false promises and deliberate deception. The fifth testimony is that of Palestine, which was the first victim of the Balfour Declaration and the colonial partition plan. This is an enjoyable and important book for anyone who wants to understand the origins of the story.
