Six novels in the book tell of terrifying days in which the homeland is threatened by chaos and the collapse of rules, norms and laws. Protection, reassurance and security have been lost to its people, and the flood has drowned them with its poisonous blue water. They find nothing in their lives but themselves, with their helplessness and weakness, their savagery and baseness. The most hateful and cruel aspects of themselves appear among themselves and among themselves, and their lives change to what they never imagined and what their imagination could not have dared to imagine. It is as if they were in a horror movie that they acted out and directed by force, without will or decision. These six novels were drawn by pain and astonishment, the events and lives of their heroes, the pain of what they face and the astonishment of what they live, as if it is a nightmare from which they are unable to wake up and escape its horror.
