Playing with the mountain

On the eve of his birthday, he was assigned a field mission that forced him to go out into the world for the first time after many years spent within the walls of offices and meeting rooms. There, in the far south, he would have to climb a towering, ancient mountain, one that the locals considered superstitious and avoided discussing. However, the work trip, which he thought would fulfill his dreams, turned into a nightmare when he discovered that he was unable to descend from the mountain and return to his world, and that the one holding him up there was the same frightening, legendary mountain (!), which had been waiting for him for a long time to play a dangerous game with him beyond the bounds of any logic. In a murky area between wakefulness and dreams, reality and illusion, consciousness and unconsciousness, the events of the most dangerous and greatest adventure a human being can embark on take place, where he would learn that his journey to the vast outside world is, in reality, a journey inward, into the darkness of his inner world, where the secrets of the self, hidden from consciousness by a thousand veils, lie.
