The Epic of the Outlaws

This epic covers the life of five centuries, across sixteen generations, imbued with the spirit of Egypt, drawing from reality and infusing it with imagination, presenting it in a sweet language that befits what literary epics should be prepared for. Then it launches a flowing narrative that leaves the reader - despite the length of the story - panting behind the lines, chasing the acceleration and escalation of events.

The Epic of the Outlaws was published in three parts, depicting the struggle for wealth and status through the story of a family forced to leave the village they founded and wander the country. The descendants never forget their ancestors' will demanding that they reclaim what was theirs. A brutal pursuit begins in rural Egypt, depicting the farmers' struggle against the flooding and drying up of the Nile.

It is an Egyptian epic about the hope that must reside in heads and souls, and always loom before the eyes as a bright sign indicating the path, no matter how difficult the conditions, how weak the spirits, how distant the distances, how successive the times, and how weak the memory.
