Three novellas set in the space between reality and imagination, connected by a transparent narrative thread about the ordinary dreams, legitimate hopes, and acceptable ambitions of their protagonists. However, they become entangled in situations beyond each of their capacities, and they try to escape in their own ways, leading to unprecedented transformations in their lives, making all appearances deceptive. In this new work, El-Ashmawy smoothly transitions between the three separate novellas to tell us what happened with enchanting visuals and a highly engaging narrative, using short titles that rely on a crossword puzzle game throughout the chapters of the three novellas, in which he recounts the astonishing tales of his protagonists, despite their simple dreams and limited capabilities.
