In the face of these great matters, and in the heart of this dark and hateful strife, Ali found himself as the best man can find himself, true faith in God, sincere advice for religion, upholding the truth and steadfastness on the straight path. He does not deviate, nor does he lean, nor does he compromise on the matter of Islam, whether little or much. Rather, he sees the truth and proceeds towards it. He does not deviate from anything, nor does he care about the consequences, nor does he care about finding success or failure at the end of his path, nor finding life or death at the end of his path. Rather, he is concerned with all care to find, during his path and at the end of it, the satisfaction of his conscience and the satisfaction of God.
