In the heart of shadows, where solitude intertwines with hope, "Blue Tattoo" weaves a feminine tale of healing and transformation. Safa, an art therapist, meets a group of women at "Bayt Hakki" to embark on a unique therapeutic journey, where stories of illness and hope intersect, and narratives intertwine like braids of clay and light. The novel does not merely observe the feminine experience; it also opens a window to the world of men who face the illness of the woman they love, showcasing the psychological and social impact of the disease on family and relationships, and how their pain intersects with the shades of blue that carry both sorrow and hope. The novel moves through three pivotal stations: it begins with the blurriness of vision and the fear of the unknown, then crosses into a stage of deep awareness and collective healing through art, finally reaching a moment of recovery and self-rediscovery. Each transition coincided with a visit to the "Dialogue with Darkness" exhibition held at the Al-Nour wal Amal Association building in Nasr City. At each station, the heroines are accompanied by a "blue tattoo" symbolizing the impact of the illness on the soul and body, and the light that seeps through the darkness. Within the walls of hospitals and waiting rooms, in dialogues of darkness, and silent scenes of clay, art emerges as a sanctuary and a means of expressing pain and transformation. "Blue Tattoo" is not merely a novel about illness, but a human testimony to the light that remains present despite all difficulties.
