Youssef Ziedan is an Egyptian thinker and novelist with a professorship in philosophy, history, and science. He has published over sixty books, and his works have received numerous international awards. His most famous novel, Azazel, won several international awards, including the International Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2009, the Anoupy Award in 2012, and the Banipal Prize in 2013. Dar El Shorouk has published a number of his creative works, including the novels "The Serpent's Shadow," "Azazel," "The Nabati," "Impossible," "Guantanamo," "Noor," and "Ahle El-Hay." His novels have topped the best-seller lists since their release to this day.
