This short novel brings together two of the most wonderful stories written by the Russian author Nikolai Gogol: The Nose and The Overcoat. In the story of The Nose, we follow a satirical and bizarre adventure about an employee who loses his nose, only to find it living an independent life from him, in a scathing critique of bureaucracy and tsarist society. As for The Overcoat, we experience the tragedy of the poor clerk Akaky Akakievich, who dreams of a new overcoat to save him from the cold of St. Petersburg, but he faces the harshness of poverty and the indifference of society. Through dark humor and imagination mixed with realism, Gogol reveals the absurdity of life and the suffering of the common man, laying the foundations of modern Russian literature that later influenced giants like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 4 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (2 to 4 business days).
