Scientific discipline by adhering to one of the four schools of thought that express the Ummah's understanding of the Sunnah, without narrowing the scope of disagreement, while indicating the breadth of differing opinions. The author has tried in this book to blend these objectives, resulting in a book that is fresh in its style and content, covering an essential area of interest to every Muslim who wishes to know their religion in a way that is neither superficial nor specialized.
