The discovery of a young man brutally murdered in a boat raises questions that center on three women: Laura, a troubled woman who was the last person seen at the victim's residence after spending the night with him; his grieving aunt, Carla, who lost another family member just weeks earlier; and the inquisitive neighbor, Miriam, who found the body but has secrets she's keeping from the police.
Three women who know almost nothing about each other, each with their own separate relationship to the murdered man. Three women who, for different reasons, each harbor an old grudge that lingers like embers beneath ashes. Three women desperate to make amends for the injustice they have suffered. Even good men can commit terrible acts in their quest for revenge. How far will each of these women go in their quest for peace of mind? And how can secrets remain hidden before their flames explode?
