Qasim Amin's claim that the hijab is the cause of Muslim women's backwardness has been disproven in reality, as we see today tens of thousands of women holding higher degrees in medicine, engineering, and sciences, and successfully practicing these fields in life, becoming exemplars, all while adhering to the hijab.

Qasim Amin's claim was nothing but a promotion for the missionary advocates of the Crusaders who try to harm Islam through various means.

Scholars have countered and exposed the falsehood of Qasim Amin's claim, among them was the founder of the Egyptian economy in the twentieth century (Talaat Harb Pasha), who responded to Qasim with a strong rebuttal supported by arguments and evidence, thus exposing and refuting his false claims.

Today, with the spread of unveiling in Islamic countries, republishing this book "Women's Upbringing and Hijab" has become a necessary da'wah (Islamic propagation) to educate Muslim women to remain steadfast in Allah's path.
