It is a summary of Imam Ibn al-Mulaqqin's (d. 804 AH) book titled "Al-Badr Al-Munir fi Takhreej Al-Ahadith wa Al-Athar Al-Waqi'ah fi Al-Sharh Al-Kabeer," with additions and benefits meticulously selected by the author from the gradations of Izz ibn Jama'ah, Ibn al-Naqqash, and Badr al-Zarkashi.
For this book, the most accurate manuscript originals were collected, including those containing the author's additions to his work, which were missed in previous editions. This is in addition to almost complete textual control, paragraphing, gradation, attribution, and clarification of difficult passages.
