In it, the author compiled the culmination of forty years of diligent research into books on Tajweed, both old and new, printed and manuscript, along with what he learned orally from leading contemporary reciters, asking them about the intricacies of this science and the complexities of its issues. He uniquely presented the science of Tajweed—in its entirety—in the form of educational charts containing illustrations and images of the organs of speech and related matters. He employed colors to highlight and distinguish certain Tajweed issues. The book is distinguished by the accuracy of its information and the precision of its definitions. The author blended the ancient science of Tajweed with some of the facts of modern phonetics and the physics of sound. The book includes an important chapter on the development of writing and standardizing the Holy Qur’an, and another on memorizing the Holy Qur’an and related matters. The book also contains many Qur’anic audio examples of correct pronunciation, and even incorrect pronunciation, so that the reader can avoid falling into that. Controlling the times of the lengthening, controlling the times of the nasalization, controlling the times of the consonant sounds, assimilation, concealment, conversion, incomplete assimilation, the facilitated hamza, inclination, partial vowelization and nasalization, audio examples of all of that through the QR codes. Note: There are two ways of receiving the Holy Quran: oral and written. Oral reception from our sheikhs has its transmission, and written reception from what our imams have recorded in their Tajweed works - including this book - has its control, and neither of them is sufficient without the other. Therefore, in addition to understanding the theoretical rules of Tajweed, the student of the Qur’an must sit with a skilled reciter who will teach him the correct performance of the sounds of the Glorious Qur’an.
