Life thereafter became a burden, tossed between the hands of relatives, each coveting his money and inheritance, forgetting to look at his wound. When the owners of the Komai Orphanage took him in and saved him from neglect, he finally found a safe place, reconnecting him with life and family. But in the orphanage, Rio gradually and quietly began to see brief glimpses of the near future, incidents that had not yet occurred, a child's cry not yet heard. Unconsciously, he grew accustomed to these visions as one gets used to the idea that the world doesn't work as it should, so he didn't discover that there was a real problem until the orphanage burned down, and those visions turned into messages from the future that he finds periodically in his diary, in his handwriting, in his style, but without him having written them. Precise warnings, dates, names, ways of dying, all signed in his name, addressed to him! They reveal to him the danger that will befall his siblings. Rio learns the rules to break fate, memorizes patterns, but everything goes awry when "The Book" is brought out of its hiding place. Instead of revealing the truth to them, the messages multiply for him, the warnings and signs of death increase! He changes the future, and it changes with him, bringing him back to disaster. As if every choice leads him to a more distorted future!
