I saw her, but she was faded, no longer like the full moon but like the crescent moon at the end of Sha'ban, full of weariness and worries. Her features were pale, as if the years had left their mark on her. She was like the moon when clouds try to hide it. But that doesn't change her nature; she will always be a moon. The luster of her bright eyes had faded, and she looked at me with cold glances, almost exceeding the coldness of December nights.
