(The most beautiful thing in life is intimacy with Allah) which plants light in the hearts, to bear divine lights and moons that guide their owner to the door of the King, and to the paradise of nearness to the Most Merciful Lord, and shade him with the shadows of thought and lessons, so it becomes a fence between him and Satan, and a path drawn from it extending through obedience to the Most Gracious. The content of this book came as wisdom from the provisions of the righteous, and from the pearls of speech, and it is a great door to contemplation, and a call to return and repentance, for it is the best provision, with it the edifice of obedience and guidance is raised, and the hearts are illuminated with the lights of wisdom and piety. These wisdoms are varied, some of them take the hand of the Muslim to repentance, for repentance is a sense of fear of the end, and there is no good in life except for the repentant or the man who works in degrees, so glory be to He who causes the servant to sin and He is ashamed of it. Some of them call the servant to work: Do not sit idle, for death seeks you.
